Uncle Ruckus of The Boondocks: A Character Analysis

Uncle Ruckus is a unique yet adorable character in The Boondocks, who hates himself for being an African-American. Those, who watch The Boondocks online, might be aware, that he wishes from the bottom of his heart, that colored people remain enslaved, as he thinks this way, they would lead a better life. In fact, his views about such people are similar to that of racists.
Personality wise, Uncle Ruckus is an overweight man with a glass eye. He is quite homely but likes to disassociate himself as far as possible, from other African-Americans. He is quite straightforward while supporting the "white supremacist power structure." The voice of this character is provided by Gary Anthony Williams.
According to Uncle Ruckus, the colored folks should be grateful for the senseless act of goodness done by the Americans. He feels that innumerous innocent American minds have been destroyed, in order to bring peace among these savage colored men. In The Boondocks episodes, Uncle Ruckus sympathizes with the sufferings of the Americans.
In the third season of the series, Uncle Ruckus will be imparting some of his opinions. One of his strong opinions is that American women are the most precious things on Earth. He is also a great admirer of former President Bush. He feels that George Bush occupies the second rank in the greatest presidents of the world. If you watch The Boondocks online, you will be aware that the first position, according to Ruckus, is occupied by Ronald Reagan. Further, Ruckus feels that if he becomes the president, he would put a ban on colored presidents.
Another comment passed by him in the third season would be on Bill Cosby. In his opinion, the sweater of Bill Cosby was all that really looked good on him. As Cosby is an African-American, Ruckus doesn't approve of him at all. According to Ruckus, it was the Americans, who invented rap and not colored people.
In season three of The Boondocks episodes, Ruckus also gives his opinion about Tiger Woods. He feels great to see, that all the women with whom Tiger had an affair were not colored. According to him, colored men should not dare to break the heart of non-colored women, as they are very good at taking revenge.
Lastly, he feels that although he is colored from the outside, he feels proud to be non-colored from his heart. Thus, by portraying the character of Uncle Ruckus as directly the opposite of a normal African American, the series has created a hilarious atmosphere. People, who watch The Boondocks online, are always curious about what Uncle Ruckus is up to. They are all ears to the dialogues of Uncle Ruckus, as he has tremendous grit, and has not even spared the President of the United States!
